Welcome Cesc!

The time has finally come. Cesc Fabregas returned to Barcelona. I hope he will help the team to maintain the excellent level of soccer they have achieved in the last three seasons. As the experts say, is very difficult to maintain the desire of winning after so many victories as the Barcelona’s team has earned, but the integration of two excellent new players as Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez could be a good motivation for the rest of the group.

This is the video of Cesc’s presentation in the Camp Nou.

And this is the video of the Supercup first game. It was a very difficult game for the team but they made their best effort to get a good result. Hopefully they will win today in the Camp Nou. However it’s not going to be an easy game, because the Real Madrid is in an excellent physical form and I’m sure they will play as it were the Champions League Final.  Anyway, I trust in all the Barcelona’s players.  We could win or lose, but they will always do their best effort. Let’s go Barca!

Thundercats – The new series

The adaptation of the 80’s cartoon Thundercats was released in Cartoon Network last Friday with its first two episodes. The opinions I have read on the internet are mostly positive. The new series presents old and beloved characters in a new context and with some variations in his personalities. The story follows a different path from the old series, with great variations in situations and background. Within the first two episodes all the main characters are presented and the main conflicts are established.  It feels a little fast in some moments, but it’s presented in a nice way so you don’t get lost with who-is-who in the series.

Today I watched the third episode and the feeling of the first two episodes remains the same. The episode itself follows an explicit plot (a little predictable also) focused, in my opinion, on the series main target: a new generation of kids and the nostalgic adults like me.

To said it short: I liked this new series, it feels new with a little nostalgic touch , and it’s going to be in my list of series to watch every week, even though I don’t think it will be top priority.
